The new United With Ukraine portal of US and BG partners serves to support displaced persons already in Bulgaria or planning to come to Bulgaria in areas such as housing, childcare, employment, and continuing studies for students, among others. Children's Science Center Muzeiko with partners, offers free day care and services for children displaced by the war in Ukraine and their families currently in Sofia . Children and their families can benefit from the following services:
• All-day care from Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 5 pm for children in the following age groups:
4 - 6 years;
7 - 9 years;
10 - 12 years.
This includes daily program and meals.
• Half-day care from Monday to Friday 9.30 am to 13.00 pm for children in the following age groups:
4 - 6 years;
7 - 9 years;
10 - 12 years.
This includes daily program and meals.
• Registration is for the whole week from Monday to Friday.
• Access to the Museum's exhibitions for children and parents together between Wednesday and Sunday
from 10.00 to 12.30; from 13:00 to 15:30 and from 16:00 to 18:00
• The team that helps in the Day Center includes educators, psychologists, volunteers who will help the children to adapt.
And the nurse at the center is one of Ukraine's mothers who, instead of seeking help for her children, offers help for others.

The places are limited and are filled in the order of admission.
You need to fill in a form for each week in which the child is included, regardless of the fact that you have already filled in one for the previous week.
The day center works according to the following rules:
The reception of the children takes place between 9.30 and 10.00 in the Muzeiko Educational Building
(the adjacent building next to the main entrance of Muzeiko).
Please note that we cannot accept children outside of these hours.
IMPORTANT STEPS:
1. Upon admission on the first day, the parents sign a declaration of consent.
2. A nurse will meet the children at the entrance. If the child is having a symptoms, fever, cough or runny nose, the child will be returned.
3. The sending of the children takes place between
12:30 and 13:00 for the half-day care
and from 16.30 - 17.00 for the all-day care
Children must wear indoor shoes to be inside the Museum during the day and a reusable water bottle.
For children between 4 and 7 years it is desirable to wear spare clothes.
Currently we can not meet the nutritional needs of children with allergies or special diets.
Please pack food for them from home.
